Easy to make spice blend at your home.

Ingredients

  • Cloves – 20

  • Green Cardamom – 8

  • Cinnamon Stick – 8 pieces of 1 inch length

  • Nutmeg – 1

  • Mace – 2

  • Star Aniseed – 4

  • Fennel Seeds – 4 tsps.

  • Shahi Jeera – 2 tsps.

  • Cumin seeds – 2 tsps.

  • Bay leaves – 8

Directions

  • Lightly dry roast all the ingredients on low heat until an aromatic fragrance is released.

  • Let it cool down and transfer to a blender.
  • Grind to a fine powder.
  • Store the masala powder in an airtight container. It will retain its aroma and last about 3-4 months.
