Egg waffle sandwich is an easy to make recipes for all students who are living in a dorm. It is prepared with very few ingredients and still very healthy and nutritious. Especially in a dormitory where you are limited to appliances and cooking pots.

Ingredients

  • Eggs – 4

  • Mushrooms – 1 cup

  • Broccoli – 1 cup

  • Italian seasoning – ½ tsp

  • Chili flakes – ½ tsp

  • Oil – 2 tsps.

  • Salt – to taste

Directions

  • Cut mushrooms and broccoli into small pieces or (buy cut vegetables)
  • Take a saucepan, add oil and heat.

  • Now add the vegetables and stir fry.


  • After 2 minutes add the seasoning, chili flakes and salt.
  • Stir fry for an additional 3 minutes.
  • Remove from heat.
  • Beat the eggs with a fork.

  • Grease the waffle maker.

  • Slightly heat the waffle maker.
  • Add some of the beaten egg. Then evenly add the vegetables.

  • Cover the vegetables with egg to make it look like a sandwich.

  • At this point the heat would have increased.
  • Close the lid and hold the handle and keep pressing for about 2 minutes. This will help any excess egg to drip outside. Ensure not to lock the lid when closing it.
  • When fully cooked, remove from the waffle maker.

  • Ready to serve with your favorite sauce or just the waffle.
