minutesEgg waffle sandwich is an easy to make recipes for all students who are living in a dorm. It is prepared with very few ingredients and still very healthy and nutritious. Especially in a dormitory where you are limited to appliances and cooking pots.
Ingredients
Eggs – 4
Mushrooms – 1 cup
Broccoli – 1 cup
Italian seasoning – ½ tsp
Chili flakes – ½ tsp
Oil – 2 tsps.
Salt – to taste
Directions
- Cut mushrooms and broccoli into small pieces or (buy cut vegetables)
- Take a saucepan, add oil and heat.
- Now add the vegetables and stir fry.
- After 2 minutes add the seasoning, chili flakes and salt.
- Stir fry for an additional 3 minutes.
- Remove from heat.
- Beat the eggs with a fork.
- Grease the waffle maker.
- Slightly heat the waffle maker.
- Add some of the beaten egg. Then evenly add the vegetables.
- Cover the vegetables with egg to make it look like a sandwich.
- At this point the heat would have increased.
- Close the lid and hold the handle and keep pressing for about 2 minutes. This will help any excess egg to drip outside. Ensure not to lock the lid when closing it.
- When fully cooked, remove from the waffle maker.
- Ready to serve with your favorite sauce or just the waffle.
