Rhu Rosie is a non-alcoholic, vegan mocktail drink. Rhubarb is a plant where the stalks are the edible portion of it. Although this a vegetable, it is consumed more like some fruit and a rich source of certain vitamins.

Ingredients

  • Rhubarb Consommé
  • Rhubarb – 2 ½ cups

  • Sugar – ¾ cup

  • Water – 2 ½ cups

  • For the drink
  • Apple cider vinegar – 1 oz.

  • Rose water – 5 drops

  • Ice cubes – a few

  • Rose flower for garnish

Directions

  • Rhubarb Consommé preparation
  • Cut rhubarb into small pieces.

  • Take a saucepan combine rhubarb, water, and sugar.

  • Simmer until the rhubarb pieces breakdown. Roughly about 20-25 minutes.


  • Use a strainer and transfer the thick consommé into another bowl or saucepan.

  • Refrigerate until cooled.


  • Drink preparation
  • Combine apple cider vinegar, rose water, rhubarb consommé and ice cubes in a cocktail shaker.
  • Shake well.
  • Pour into a fancy cocktail glass.
  • Garnish with roses and serve.
